George M. Ford

Mr. Ford is an accomplished trial lawyer whose practice concentrates in the areas of family law and probate litigation. Mr. Ford's recognized skill in the family law area is solving the complex financial issues that emerge in the context of divorce litigation. In the area of probate litigation, Mr. Ford is well-versed with the responsibilities and duties of fiduciaries, the rights of beneficiaries, and the multi-faceted aspects of guardianships and conservatorships. Mr. Ford has been included in the publication "Best Lawyers in America" since the initial edition in 1983 and each year thereafter.
Mr. Ford is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers having served as the president of the Massachusetts chapter as well as a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is co-author of the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education' Divorce Law Practice Manual.

Carolyn C. Van Tine
Partner
Ms. Van Tine is an experienced trial attorney who practices in the areas of family law and probate litigation. Her practice includes divorce, modification, contempt proceedings, child custody issues, paternity, and other domestic matters adjudicated in the probate and family courts in Massachusetts. She also serves as the team's lead mediator.
Ms. Van Tine began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Plymouth County, later moving into private practice as an associate at a large Boston law firm.Ms. Van Tine subsequently elected to establish her own firm, operating a successful "divorce boutique" practice prior to her decision to join Conn Kavanaugh.
Ms. Van Tine serves on the Norfolk Corrections Advisory Committee and is a member of the Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Women's Bar Association, Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation, Western Norfolk County Bar Association, and the Norfolk County Bar Association.

Jennifer F. Liddell
Associate
Prior to joining our team in 2008, Ms. Liddell was a Senior Associate at a "divorce boutique" in suburban Boston where she handled all aspects of family law litigation.Early in her career she clerked at the Suffolk County Superior Court.
Ms. Liddell is a member of the Women's Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, and American Bar Association. She is also active in the Women's Bar Foundation Family Law Project for Battered Women including representation at 209A Abuse Prevention Order hearings.

Laurell Spallone
Associate
Ms. Spallone joined Conn Kavanaugh in 2008 and practices in the area of family law. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Spallone served as a law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. During her two years as a law clerk, Ms. Spallone worked on a variety of domestic relations, probate and equity matters.
Ms. Spallone is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.
